Terms of Service

Last updated September 11, 2026.

Who operates this service

VocalXI is operated by AscendXI, based in India. You can contact us at info@ascendxi.com.

What VocalXI is

VocalXI lets a form owner (“you,” if you create an account) turn a set of questions into a spoken conversation. A respondent opens a link, answers out loud, and their answers are submitted — either to a form built in your VocalXI dashboard, or, where you have connected one, to a Google Form you own via the Google Forms API and a script you install and authorize yourself.

Your account

You’re responsible for what happens under your account, including forms you create and the questions you send to respondents. Keep your password confidential — we store it only as a salted hash and never send it to you by email. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to create an account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use VocalXI to:

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this section.

If you connect a Google Form

Connecting a Google Form works by installing an Apps Script add-on bound to a Form you already own, and authorizing it with your own Google account. That script runs under your Google account’s own authorization, using only the scope the Google Forms API requires to read the Form’s structure and submit responses to it (see Privacy for what that access is used for). We never ask for or receive your Google account password, and access is limited to the specific Form you connect. You can revoke that access at any time from your Google Account’s third-party access settings, which immediately stops voice submissions from reaching that Form.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Respondents

If you’re answering someone else’s form, your spoken answers are processed to transcribe and understand them, then submitted as your response — see Privacy for exactly what’s kept and for how long. You’re talking with an automated voice agent, not a person.

Service “as is,” during early access

VocalXI is under active development and provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Features described as “coming soon” are not yet available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Trademarks

Google, Google Forms, Google Workspace, and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC. VocalXI is an independent product, built to work with Google Forms through its public API — it is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google.
